books, tracks or cable TV to carry God's word to the masses. Bill
Adkins comes to the world with simpler tools.....a voice, a guitar,
and a host of great Christian Country songs. Once a star attraction
in the country bars and honky tonks of his native home Nashville,
Tennessee, Bill no longer sings about cheating hearts, false starts
and long weekends. Today Bill Adkins uses the country music he
loves and grew up on to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Bill Adkins self-titled debut album has been said to have the new
wave of Christian country music. But, more importantly, in a genre
of music still in the process of defining itself, Bill Adkins is emerged
as a pace setter, establishing himself and Christian Country as
powerful forces in the mix of modern-day country music. Bill's first
Christian country music single "Jesus Reached Down" was released
with
H.M.G. Music Nashville in June 2007. The single just
hit #44 on the Power Source Christian Country charts
for March 2008.
The CD's title "Lord Don't Give Up on Me" is written on a
foundation of devoutly Christian thoughts, carrying a message
that's relevant to an entire culture. There are issues that demand
to be addressed from a Christian perspective. Lord, don’t give up on
me is a thought that crosses everyone's heart during their walk with
the Lord.
The songs that are on this album reflect a time in
my life that I thank God for, it showed me his will for my life and
his Love for me. Bill plays for churches, nursing homes, outside
events, Revivals, and more. We look forward to worshipping with
you in the future.

The bible says a man that finds a wife finds a good
thing and I'm here to say that it is true. I am sitting
with my wife Teresa, she is the help meet that God
gave me to help in the ministry. She shows me
everyday that unending love of God and the Grace he
so freely gives to those who love him. I love you with
my whole heart and soul, may God teach me to love
you like he does me. These are our children, Bailey,
Shelby, Michael, Megan, Brandon, and Amanda, and as
I look at our kids I am reminded that these are the
blessings of God.
